Senior Research Analyst Jay Kaeppel goes live with hosts Alix Steel and Guy Johnson on Bloomberg TV on May 20, 2022. Jay discusses his optimisim, despite many bearish indicators in the market.
Jay explains that new lows overwhelming new highs can be an early indicator of capitulation in the market. He goes on to say that, if this signal follows the same cycle as previous instances, the NASDAQ will likely drop another 6-8% before becoming to make a return.
"Imagine the fear and panic that will be going on in the market at that point," Kaeppel tells Bloomberg TV. "I think if it unfolds that way, that sets up a terrific buying opportunity."
Kaeppel goes on to give his advice on where buyers may find profitable opportunities during this promising low.
