Nasdaq new high with < 50% of stocks above 200-day average

The participation problems we’ve already looked at have been minor issues at best. A potentially more disturbing one has developed on the Nasdaq. Despite a new high in the Composite index, fewer than half the securities on that exchange have managed to even climb above their 200-day moving averages.
