Minutes Digest for Jan 19 2021

Goldman reported this morning, and despite the upside surprise, the stock has sold off from the morning pop. It's not alone in terms of its surprise, as almost all reports so far have been to the upside.

There have already been reports trickling in, but it starts to pick up this week and especially next week.

The biggest issue will be managing expectations. Wall Street analysts have already been busying upgrading price targets, and they've done it on so many stocks that it's registering an extreme. It's been tough for stocks to hold gains when analysts were expecting so much going in.
