Gold blasts above its 200-day

We'll look at this more closely tomorrow, but gold finally punched above its 200-day average for the 1st time in months. Its medium- to long-term results weren't great as it typically couldn't hold its new uptrend.

In the very short-term, though, it had more of a tendency to follow through, especially since 2012.
