Over the past 2-3 days, selling pressure in stocks reached historic levels.

On the NYSE, fewer than 11% of issues and volume flowed into stocks that managed to rise on both days. We rarely see so few Up Issues and such low Up Volume in a single session – it’s almost unprecedented to see it on back-to-back days.

The selling pressure was heavy even on Friday. Over the past 3 days, the lowest TICK reading has averaged - 1578, the lowest since August 2011.
