Semiconductor stocks have been one of the few weak spots among stocks in recent months. The SMH fund just fell to a relative trend score of 0, meaning it is lagging behind the broader market on all trend metrics, which has been a consistently bad omen for the market. Sharp pullbacks in semis despite new highs in the S&P 500 have preceded some major declines.
